It’s not just about the property
The Sulets service is uniquely about students and making sure that where you live is a positive part of your time studying in Leicester. That means we are here to manage repairs and maintenance (where the landlord has asked us to), give advice on council tax and help you to deal with any problems that should arise. A new service for students this year
We will provide access to professional counselling help for our private house tenants, starting in September 2020.
Mental health is an important issue for young people, and especially for students, who take on many new and challenging experiences when they are at University. The current COVID-19 outbreak has highlighted how quickly situations can change and life pressures escalate. Student tenants in our houses will be able to access the 1 to 1 service through a 24-hour, 7 day a week helpline. This will be staffed by experienced, BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) qualified counsellors who will provide help and support in a friendly, knowledgeable, and non-judgemental way.
