Once you have selected your next student home and completed a viewing you are ready to book and begin the tenancy application process with Sulets.
Click “Book Now” on the house listing page on the Sulets website to begin your application.
You will then be directed to the StuRents tenancy registration page which has several steps to complete.
Enter your details into the form fields, then click ‘Continue’.
You will then be emailed a link to confirm your email address and to login.
The first person to complete the application is automatically assigned the role of ‘Lead Tenant’. This person is responsible for agreeing the return of the deposit at the end of the tenancy and receives the money from the government approved deposit scheme to return to the other tenants. Next, choose if you are applying with a guarantor or without. Click for more info on guarantors.
Enter further personal details we require, then click ‘Continue’ to submit your application.
You will then be presented with a tenancy to sign digitally. Please ensure you thoroughly read and understand this tenancy agreement before you are happy to sign.
Speak with your guarantor to ensure they have signed and returned their copy.
The final step is for all tenants to pay the deposit. This can be paid once you have digitally signed the contract.
Once all parties have signed the tenancy agreement, you can login to the portal to download the tenancy and see all the relevant safety certificates for the property. You will also receive an email from us to setup the direct debit to pay the future rent. We will then be in touch closer to your move in date to arrange key collection.
