Looking to kickstart your academic journey? When it comes to private student accommodation, we’ve got you covered! There is a variety of private student accommodation in Leicester you can pick from! Would you like to have housemates? Get yourself a room in a shared flat or house. It would be a great choice if you would like to expand your social network quick. Looking for more privacy? A studio could be your choice and you can still meet people through the social activities available at your accommodation.
Start from your bedroom. Would you prefer an en-suite bathroom or do you not mind sharing one? How much space do you need? No need to worry about the deposit, bills, WiFi, or appliances, the majority are included in the price! We have seven halls of residence in excellent locations and in close proximity to the DMU and UOL campuses.
If you are looking for high-quality studios or a one-bed apartment, The Summit has student studios starting from £152pw, Upperton Road from £145pw, and Eastern Boulevard and Newarke Street from £135pw. All within less than a 5 minutes walk to the DMU campus along the canal and around 10 minutes to the town centre.
If you are interested in accommodation closer to the University of Leicester, look out for London Road near the beautiful Victoria Park. There are loads of restaurants around and the train station and Leicester Museum & Art Gallery are about a 5 minute walk away.
Having friends or course mates over is always a good idea, but perhaps you would prefer to live with them or meet new people through your housing. It may be scary at first but getting along with your flatmates is less difficult than you think. Find a house for you and your friends or book a non-ensuite bedroom in one of the apartments in our halls of residence.
Queens Court starting from £99pw, Regents Court from £115pw at an equal distance from both universities and the train station, Eastern Boulevard, and Newarke Street are a few of the apartments available with between 4 and 6 non-ensuite bedrooms. Brookland Road from £119pw and London Road are in closer proximity to the University of Leicester.
Tenancies are available for 44 or 51 weeks. And double occupancy rooms are also an option! Facilities such as free access to the gym, leisure or study rooms, and bike storage are included in the price. There is no need to be concerned about your safety or any other issues because there is on-site friendly staff and security if you want assistance.
