Sulets Extra is a brand new part of our offer and aims to provide high quality lifestyle based activity all year for Sulets tenants completely for free. Run by a dedicated member of the team, Sulets Extra is a two way conversation between you, the students, and us because we want you to choose the activities and events you get.

All events are programmed with you in mind and focus on enhancing your student life, whether that be through looking after your wellbeing, developing life skills, socialising with a new community, getting fit and healthy or by simply having fun.

There’s no membership required and we do everything with you in mind, so attending is hassle free. We know no one else in Leicester is providing such a well thought out range of activities, in such diverse spaces so why not come along to our next event? #SuletsExtra

Sulets shop opens with a bang!

Leicester’s leading not-for-profit student accommodation provider Sulets celebrated the launch of  refreshed and updated branding and the opening of a new high street shop at their De Montfort University Branch.

The special VIP event took place on Wednesday 15th March with local landlords, De Montfort University and University of Leicester trustees and Student Union members in attendance to name but a few.

Our very own Student Unions President, Dan Winney and Vice President of Welfare and Community, Keira Rounsley, cut the ribbon and spoke about the great relationship Sulets have with the Students’ Union and how Sulets are the only provider to be officially recommended.

CEO, Irving Hill, said “The grand opening was a huge success, it has been fantastic to recognize how far Sulets has come as a business and we are really excited about what the future holds for us”

DSU Sulets have moved!

The team at DSU Sulets have temporarily moved out of the Campus Centre at De Montfort University due to refurbishment and have moved to the Art Factory.

The Art Factory is located just across the road on Mill Lane and will be our temporary home for a few months.

It is business as usual for us so please visit us at our new office.

Sulets win National Student Housing Survey Quality Award

NSHS-IAQMSulets are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the National Student Housing Survey Quality Mark for International Accommodation.  The kite mark is awarded to a select group of institutions and private hall providers who achieve greater than 90% satisfaction amongst international students.

The National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK. The survey, running since 2007, measures satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation and allows participating institutions to measure their performance against national and regional benchmarks. The 2016 survey attracted more than 33,000 responses from more than 200 universities and colleges across the UK.

Students’ Union Letting Charity, Sulets accredited with Investors in People Award (IIP)

Sulets is a lettings agency jointly owned and run by the Students’ Unions of DMU and Leicester University. With an office based at each campus, Sulets is the number 1 site for De Montfort University and University of Leicester students looking for private rented accommodation in Leicester.

Sulets was accredited with the Investors in People award on 23rd March 2016. They have joined a community of 14,000 other companies and currently Sulets are the only lettings company in Leicester to have this standard.

We’ve now got even more choice for students at De Montfort University and the University of Leicester!

Part Time Student Staff Required

SULETS are recruiting student staff to carry out property viewings and general admin work November 2014 – February 2015.

Successful candidates will be required to work day shifts, with the possibility of some evening and weekend work. Hours are flexible, to fit around lectures and other commitments. Rate of pay is £6.50 per hour, plus holiday pay.

You will be showing potential tenants around available houses and purpose built accommodation, and guiding them through the SULETS lettings process. Full training will be provided prior to commencement.
