UPDATE 17.03.21

Student Roost have announced that they will be offering an additional 4-week rent discount for residents who are currently away from their Student Roost accommodation. This 4-week discount is on top of the 6-week discount previously offered to eligible residents in January 2021. Together this makes a total discount of 10 weeks. Like last time, this is a gesture of goodwill, which residents need to apply for. Student Roost will be contacting eligible students by email with details of how to claim.

UPDATE 21.01.21

Sulets are pleased to announce that we will be able to give students in our leased housing a substantial discount, equivalent to around 4 weeks rent. Students will be contacted in April about the details of their individual discount. In the meantime you must pay your January rent payment, as stated in your tenancy contract. 

Sulets CEO, Irving Hill, has said, ‘We are very aware of the impact that the current lockdown is having on students. As an educational charity, with a clear mission to do the best for students, we are committed to helping where we can at this time, as we did in 2020’.

We know this is a difficult time for students. All Sulets tenants in our private houses have access to a free mental health helpline.

Mental health is an important issue for young people, and especially for students, who take on many new and challenging experiences when they are at University. More info can be found here.

Student Roost have announced that they will be offering a 6 week rent discount for residents who are currently away from their Student Roost accommodation. In line with the latest COVID-19 guidance from the UK Government, the Sulets office on the De Montfort University Campus is closed. Our team are still working, so please get in touch via email, phone during office hours, or via our online chat facility. We are still able to conduct safe viewings via video and in person. You can book accommodation and pay your rent via this website.
